Refund policy
We want every parent to feel confident ordering from Tolu. Here's exactly how refunds work.

1. Digital PDF, 7-day money-back guarantee
Our Digital PDF book (€9.99) comes with a full 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy with your book for any reason, email us at hello@tolu.app within 7 days of purchase from the same email address you used at checkout, and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
- One refund per customer per PDF order.
- The 7-day guarantee applies to the €9.99 Digital PDF only.
2. Printed books (softcover & hardcover)
Every printed book is custom-made on demand, your child's name, photo and likeness are printed into a physical product just for you. For that reason, printed books are non-refundable once production starts.
However: if your book arrives damaged, defective, or printed incorrectly, we'll send you a free replacement. Email hello@tolu.app within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number, and we'll ship a new copy at no cost.
3. Story Club subscription
You can cancel any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops all future renewals immediately. Already-billed periods are not pro-rated, you keep full access to Story Club until the end of the current billing period.
4. How to request a refund
Email hello@tolu.app with:
- Your order number (from the order confirmation email)
- The email address you used at checkout
- A short note about what went wrong (optional, but helpful)
We aim to respond within 1 business day.
5. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable law, including any rights you may have under EU consumer protection law.
